Panel Moderator: Cormac Ryan

Cormac Ryan is president of TMA International, providing competitive intelligence and other consulting services to multinational clients including AT&T, Pfizer, Quaker Oats, GlaxoSmithKline, Ericsson, Cadbury-Schweppes, Alcatel-Lucent and ConAgra Foods. He has worked in the US, Mexico, Canada and Argentina, speaks Spanish and some French, and has led strategic planning projects in more than 25 countries for these clients.  He has a BA in economics from Columbia and MBA in marketing from New York University, and for 6 years was adjunct profesor of marketing at NYU gradúate business school.

"What Happens Next?" An Executive Panel, Keynote

Many programs feature case studies, which by definition must look backward. This panel discussion is designed to look forward,  Senior executives from prominent companies in the región are invited to look into the future, and discuss what they anticípate will be the future challenges facing their companies and industries. Also, they will forecast the role of competitive intelligence in helping them surmount these challenges. They will offer answers to five specific questions:

 

  1. What are the key external challenges facing your company/industry in the future?
  2. What future competitive challenges do you expect to encounter?
  3. What role will competitive intelligence play in addressing these challenges?
  4. How will your company’s competitive intelligence function change in the future?
  5. What must top management do to help make this successful?
